DESCRIPTION:Play With Me is an exhibition by Philip Stokes and Scott Redding that explores play as a physical and remembered experience. Drawing on childhood references from Australia and New Zealand, the artists translate familiar actions and forms into glass.\nAt its centre is the game of knucklebones, reimagined through suspended glass forms that appear frozen in motion. Character-based works extend this language, combining hand-blown glass with reworked cut crystal that has been cut, reheated, and reshaped in the hot shop.\nThrough scale, repetition, and material transformation, the exhibition creates an environment that shifts between the recognisable and the surreal, inviting reflection on memory, imagination, and play.\n \n
