Group exhibition and artist in residence in S12
Join us in celebrating the year of glass 2022!
S12 will, on the occasion of UN’s International Year of Glass in 2022, be focusing on Norwegian glass art, by arranging a group exhibition in its Gallery.
The exhibition will be curated by Mika Drozdowska (PL). One or two of the selected artists will be invited to take part in a residency in S12, where they will have the opportunity to experiment and create new work for the exhibition, with assistance from our workshop manager.
The exhibition will first be shown in S12 in Bergen, opening in May 2022, before parts of it will travel on to Slovakia’s glass museum in the town of Lednické Rovne, in April 2023.
Who can apply?
Artists working in Norway (regardless of nationality) and artists from Norway working abroad, can apply. Applicants must use glass, alone or in combination with other materials or expressions, in their work. Please submit one to three works where glass is an important part of the work.
