Friends & Family Workshop

At S12, both children and adults can try their hand at being artists in a professional glass studio. We offer experiences with different ways of shaping hot and cold glass, providing opportunities for exciting creative experiences every week. At the Friends & Family Workshop, children and adults can create beautiful glass artworks together, while at the Glassblowing Workshop, children can try blowing and/or shaping hot, glowing glass.

Friends & Family Workshop is a social and creative activity where children and adults work side by side. Together, you can explore glass as a material and create your own pictures, figures and shapes.

We work with the fusing technique, which involves arranging pieces of glass in different colours and shapes before melting them together in a kiln. No previous experience is required – guidance is provided throughout the workshop.
